Wedding Gifts: Personalized Gifts For Groomsmen

Wedding gifts are something that can make participants and guests enjoy more during the wedding. Gifts for bridesmaids, maid of honor, groomsmen and best man are given with sentiment of thanks from the groom and bride. Although it isn't mandatory to give gifts for them, still many brides and grooms opt to give something that can show appreciation to those people who have done a fantastic job. One particular role in any wedding is being a groomsman. A groomsman could be the groom's brother, best friend or favorite co-worker.

When giving gifts for groomsmen, first is you have to think of their personality. You don't want to buy something that is completely opposite to their taste. You may consider finding out about their interests, likes, hobbies and past time. It would be very helpful if you have these ideas to refer with when going out for shopping. The more knowledge you've gathered, the better you can conceive what to buy. Example, if you have an active athlete during your wedding, you can give him a sports related gift, or if he is a professional you can give him business gifts. It is very important to have this idea on mind, or else you would feel upset seeing them disappointed during your wedding.

Gifts for groomsmen come in a variety of choices, from very simple to sophisticated. You may give them a special present that's also coordinated with your wedding theme. in today's wedding trends, brides and grooms opt for something unique for their participants, especially groomsmen. There are a wide array of selection for personalized mementos for the groom's buddies. Where to find it? You can shop online where a plethora of choices await you. All you need to do is to browse the net starting with typing the keyword "gifts for groomsmen", then online results will pop up. In the results, there are different online stores that offer lots of groomsmen gift choices for you to choose from.

You may consider an Embroidered Weekender Bag for Groomsmen that are versatile enough for your groomsmen to carry their valuables during parties prior to the wedding day. This trendy weekender bag is made with durable denier polyester and distinctively trimmed with metal hardware and leatherette pull tabs. It makes a great surprise gift for professional men who are busy with business trips. You can find business gift items with a sporty theme like a Mini Pool Table which is finished with silver-plated satin, that reflects your sports enthusiast groomsman

What to wear to a wedding when you're not the bride

Deciding what to wear to a wedding is a very tricksy business. You have to dress well enough to be let into the church, but at the same time not well enough to upstage the bride.

It's very easy for the special lady, she could flounce down the aisle clad in a Hessian sack whilst whistling God Save the Queen and everyone would gasp and get all weepy.

So what do you wear? Well the answer is very simple, it depends. Start off by reading the wedding invitation very carefully; this should give you a clue as to what the theme and tone of the day is. A good idea might be to phone a friend who's also going. Find out what they're wearing to the wedding, copy it if necessary.

Taking the weather into account would also be a good idea. Try to find out if it's an outdoor wedding ceremony, and plan accordingly. The last thing you want to do is be sweating through your wool blouse in the middle of the hottest day of the year. So many people neglect to heed this advice, and they usually drop like flies before the bible reading.

Now when it comes to dressing your menfolk for the wedding ceremony, try to keep it simple. Wear a suit. If it is summer, a lighter cotton suit is perfect. Depending on how formal it is, a tie might not be necessary.

Shoes are also important. If given the chance most men would go in flip flops. This will not do. A pair of well made formal shoes may be on the pricey side, but they will last and are good for a variety of occasions. Motivate him by telling him that if he buys a good pair once, he might not need to go to the shops again for at least a couple of months. If this doesn't galvanize him, I don't know what will.

Women have a lot more options when it comes to dressing up for weddings. You can opt for dresses, skirts, or dress suits. Again, consider the time of year. In the colder months, darker, more somber colours will be perfect. In summer you can go lighter, but be wary of bright, bold colours. It could affect the bride's concentration, causing her to forget her vows or something equally terrible.

There are a lot of very bold fabric patterns out there, I wouldn't recommend wearing these. Stick to one colour or at least matching colours. Not only will you feel more confident about your outfit, you will blend unobtrusively into the crowd, which is what guests are supposed to do at weddings.

When it comes time for the mothers of the bride and groom to pick their outfits, I recommend they go together. This way they will know what the other is wearing which will avoid an unseemly incident. No one wants to see the matrons of honour in a catfight.

Above all, remember that the day is not about anyone but the bride and groom and celebrating their union. A smile is the best accessory to any outfit

Wedding Invitations' History

One of the first considerations for a couple planning a wedding is the type of invitations they will use to inform their guests about the momentous occasion. However, how and when did this formal wedding invitation process start?

The first type of wedding invitation was actually announced by word of mouth, before the days of printing and the Internet. During the 12 century, town criers would stand in the village square and announce weddings to everyone within earshot. A town crier got paid to stand on the corner and announce the daily news, much like news reporters on television today. As a result of the town crier's efforts, everyone within earshot was invited to share the wedding with the bride and groom – imagine trying to get a head count for that event?

The first written invitations were made during the Middle Ages of Europe, by religious monks. Because of the Plague, literacy rates were very low and only nobility and religious figures had the opportunity to learn to read and write. Wealthy nobility seeking to marry off their sons and daughters would pay incredible sums of money to monks to hand-craft wedding invitations to announce the special day. Monks were learned in the art of calligraphy and royalty appreciated this decorative skill. When the invitations were complete, they were delivered to the potential guests by a courier on horseback. During the Middle Ages, the coat of arms was also developed in response to the need to identify a person and this personal crest was often affixed to important papers, such as wedding invitations created by monks.

By the 1600's, metal plate engraving was invented, which is the same process used today. As a result of metal plate engraving, fancy engraved invitations on paper became popular. After the process was completed, a sheet of paper would be placed on top of the engraving so that it would not smudge – this is the same tissue you see left inside invitations today.

During the 18th century, wedding invitations were also published in newspapers. In Wales, bidding letters were dispatched to let people know about upcoming weddings. Furthermore, the Indians actually used smoke signals coupled with a birch bark inscription to announce future nuptials.

As literacy rates grew through during the Age of Enlightenment, more people were able to read and write. As a result, an increasing number of "regular" people began to send paper invitations to invite people to their wedding celebrations. Fine stationery was created in the 19th century because of the development of machines, which made sending paper wedding invitations even more popular. The postal system was also created and used for the delivery such invitations, along with personal couriers for those folks that felt the new mail system was unreliable. These methods of delivery encouraged the use of the double envelope to protect the invitation from being soiled or damaged en route. Although delivery methods today are cleaner and more reliable, the use of a double envelope has remained a tradition for formal wedding invitations.

Today there are numerous ways to invite people to a wedding. Invitations can be engraved or use imitation engraving known as thermography, which is less expensive. Informal invitations can be done with offset printing, home computer printing or handwritten in calligraphy and beautiful penmanship. Personalized invitations are even created on blocks of chocolate, thick paper stock or other wedding-friendly media. Some people even send their wedding invitations over the Internet!

Despite the many developments to wedding invitations over the centuries, the most popular and socially acceptable manner to invite guests is by using classic paper invitations that are carefully chosen the reflect the spirit of the event. The beauty of a traditional wedding invitation remains unsurpassed

Wedding Attendants: Bridesmaids And Groomsmen

Bridesmaids are a group of ladies who accompany the bride throughout the wedding. The selection of bridesmaids can be done from family members, friends to colleagues. To be chosen as one of the bride's maid is an honor. Traditionally, attendants such as bridesmaids, maid of honor, groomsmen, best man and others pay for their own apparels. Their chosen outfit should be same in fabrics, as well as the colors. They should give a joint gift to the couple, for a group gift pooling money can be a great idea. The bride's attendants may host a shower party for the bride. They should be excused, however, from providing shower gifts.

Giving shower gifts has been part of our tradition. In our ancient culture, Dowry is required to be given to the bride at the time of the wedding. But sometimes, parents don't have enough wealth to give to the girl. In some cases, when a girl marries of against the will of her parents, she was denied anything from her parents. In this situation, friends come to help the girl and a party is organized where all the guests have to bring something which may include household items that can be very useful in their new home.

Typically, the maid of honor and bridesmaids are joining their forces to help the bride in pre-wedding preparations. They can help the bride set schedules for dress fittings or wedding day dressing arrangements. Also, they have to be present for any pre-wedding photographs. They are the ones who help the bride select accessories and ensembles for the rest of attendants. Group decision will ensure the bride that everyone is pleased with the final choice. At the ceremony, on of the bridesmaids will hold the bride's bouquet. She has to arrange veil and costume too. The maid of honor can also sign the register as a witness of the ceremony.

The maid of honor and the best man are responsible of ensuring that all gifts are stored or removed from the hall after the ceremony. If the couple will immediately leave for their honeymoon, then the bridesmaids have to take care of her belongings and presents then transport them to the place which has been made by the bride. Also, she can take the bride's gown to the cleaner especially after the wedding.

Likewise with the groom's side. His groomsmen will take care and assist him in everything. They can help in his dressing. Traditionally, these guys have to pay any type of expenses from their own pockets. They can arrange their apparels together so that the fabrics and colors of all the men are the same.

Any traveling expenses can also be pulled together. Groom's attendants should make themselves available for the pre-wedding preparations, particularly during photo-shooting. In the reception, they can assist the guest in making them seated, as well as guiding them towards the parking lot.

They can also perform a number of pivotal duties. For the best man, included in his duty is holding the rings during the ceremony. The groomsmen, however, should take care of groom's outfits after the party. They can assist the bride's attendants in assembling the gifts as well.

These people are truly vital in any wedding. There support and effort are priceless, thus they deserve something from the couple. The bride and groom should be very thankful for having their attendant's presence, so they want to prepare groomsmen, best man, maid of honor and bridesmaids thank you gifts. For males, engraved flasks, pocket knives and cigar accessories are very popular. While personalized handbags, jewelry gifts, engraved compact mirrors, and custom shirts are popular gifts for attendants

The Benefits of a Hiring Wedding Planner

Planning a wedding can be a full time job. If you already have a one of them, which most of us do now days, adding the incredible task of even a moderate wedding can be overwhelming. Planning an event on this large a scale with the number of details a wedding involves is extremely time consuming. Even if you do party planning for a living, and most couples don't, the infinite number of details in planning the wedding alone makes hiring a professional very appealing. They'll let YOU plan your wedding, while they do all the work.

No longer is the wedding planner only for the rich and famous. There are many professional consultants eager for your business, which has made this service a much more affordable luxury. These specialists are trained to do it all, with the exception of maybe alter your designer wedding dress. Yours probably won't be the first wedding they've organized, so they have a lot of experience. They've already established the right contacts and they've built a network of top merchants. In order to get the best value for your money, they're master negotiators.

When choosing a consultant, above all, you need to feel comfortable with them. If you don't feel a connection, it's probably not going to be a good match. This is one of the happiest times of your life and you want to feel a closeness with the person planning your special day. Find out if they've completed a wedding consultant course and received their certification? Verify the information. You might want to find out how long they've been doing wedding planning. And how many and what size weddings they've handled. Ask for references. Are they interested in what you have to say? If they're not now, they probably won't be after you've hired them. And, of course, what do they charge. Even if this consultant looks perfect, allow yourself to interview at least one more so that you can have a comparison.

Your consultant will schedule appointments for you to meet with vendors and help you stay within the budget that has been established. Having the contacts and doing business in quantity gives the wedding planner a price advantage which can actually make hiring a consultant cost effective since the average person doesn't have those benefits. You can relax and and enjoy being engaged. How to choose wedding rings

Any couple planning a wedding should remember how important their choice of wedding rings is; this is a special part of the marriage process and should have great meaning. Do not rush this as they are more than a symbol of love; everyone has a ring that is made purely for them and as soon as you see it you will realize this. For something this important a couple should find a specialist jeweler for their wedding rings; you may not find the right type of jeweler from the many in your local mall.

The type of ring available in these stores is usually quite limited; they may also have a restricted price range, another reason to seek out a jeweler who only sells this type of ring. Using a specialist should also make it easier when you are trying to find a ring that works well with the engagement ring so the two do not conflict.

Be sure the wedding ring is not so elaborate that it detracts from the beauty of the engagement ring; try, if possible to buy rings that were designed to complement each other. Alternatively you will just need to spend time trying new wedding bands until you find one that matches the engagement ring.

Fashions in rings come and go but the traditional metals including: White Gold, Titanium, Silver and Yellow Gold; however, it is platinum that is being chosen more frequently when the budget allows. Of the two partners, it is the man who will appreciate a platinum ring's durability more. Traditionally, men are more likely to cause damage to a ring; they are the ones who will have the most marks and damage if examined.

Having finger size checked is essential if the wedding rings are to fit; it would be embarrassing if one or both rings did not fit properly. It is just as important to ensure the rings are not so loose that there is a chance they will be lost.

It is important that you allow the jeweler enough time to complete your ring order by your wedding day; be sure that you go looking for your rings a few months before your wedding so they will be ready for your big day. With so many wedding band designs available today, picking the right one is not a fast process; this will certainly take longer than you expect and another reason not to delay.

However, the most important aspect to remember when choosing a wedding ring is that its purpose is to show the love that two people have for one another; it should be something you are proud to wear and display

Telephoning Russian Women

The cost of calling Russia and other CIS countries has dropped dramatically over the past few years. You can make a call to Moscow or St. Petersburg from the U.S. for a little more than you would pay to make an out of state long distance call.

The following are a sampling of the rates per minute in US dollars to some CIS countries using MCI's Anytime Worldwide Plan:

Russian Federation .23

Ukraine .29

Belarus .35

Kazakhstan .23

Uzbekistan .45

Kyrgyzstan .45

Make sure that you have a suitable overseas telephone plan in place before you call.

I sent a two-page fax to Russia using my regular AT&T long distance plan and it cost me $20.00! They charged me a $10.00 international access fee, plus $2.00 per minute, plus tax.

There are also a lot of pre-paid phone cards available through the Internet that have excellent rates.

When dialing internationally, you must first dial 011 to get an international line. Then you dial the country code. The following is a list of country codes for CIS countries:

Russia 7

Belarus 375

Ukraine 380

Then you dial the region/ city code and the local number.

Even if you have a suitable plan in place, that doesn't mean you should just pick up the phone and let your fingers do the walking.

First of all, if you haven't been introduced, a call out of the blue from a foreigner is likely to elicit a very chilly reception. That is if the person who answers on the other end can even understand you.

For example, imagine you are sitting at home. Your phone rings and you pick it up. A strange voice speaking a foreign language starts firing a barrage of words at you – none of which you understand.

Startled, you ask them in English a few times who they are? There is silence on the other end for a moment and then the barrage of foreign words begin again. Frustrated, you just hang up.

That is exactly how a phone call is likely to transpire to a woman in Russia who is not expecting your call. Maybe she is working. Maybe she is out with friends or relatives. Maybe babushka (grandma) is answering the phone.

My recommendation is to first establish a relationship with a woman before calling her.

Write her a letter or have the local marriage agency introduce you. Find out if she can converse in English before calling her directly.

Make an appointment to call her. That way she is at home and expecting a call from you. She is expecting to hear English. She may still answer 'Allo' or simply 'Da,' but she will be expecting your call. She may have already arranged to have someone who speaks English on the call with you.

When I called my wife for the first time, she had been studying English for a few months. We got through 'Hello' and 'How are You?' and a few other sentences before we had run through the entire dialog in English she had practiced in class.

Then there was a long silence and she started crying as she realized that she could not speak to me. After a moment of silence, she said 'Sorry' and 'Goodbye'. She hung up the phone very upset.

I wrote to her immediately. She wrote back saying that she was ashamed that she did not know how to speak English better. She wrote that she cried for days over this.

How's Your Russian?

What should have been a joyous experience was one of tremendous sorrow for her. We weathered that storm. We met a few months later in person and, as the saying goes, the rest is history.

Two years later when I call her family's home and her mother answers, I can speak about the same number of sentences in Russian dialogue as my wife did when I first called her. Dobre din (good morning). Kak de la? (How are you). Ya horosho (I'm good). That's it. I'm a one trick pony.

Many of the women listed on the websites have telephone numbers where they can be reached and many do not. There is a long waiting list for telephones in CIS countries. For example, in Belarus, there are 2.5 million telephones for 10 million people.

My wife and I each have a cell phone and we have two telephone lines in our house. One home phone is for regular calls and one is a FAX/ DSL dedicated line for the computer. That is an average of two phones per person in our household versus one telephone per four people in the country she is from.

I think that we are rather typical of a modern family in America. We can get a telephone line installed in a matter of days, if not hours. The waiting list for telephone lines in CIS countries is measured in terms of months and years

We Need Strong Families For The Future Of Humanity

American men are looking for wives and women who want to share a happy family life together. Russian women are looking for a man who wants to be a husband and father.

The fact that they need to travel half way around the world to meet each other is now possible as the world shrinks in size.

This goal is a noble one and it is intricately involved in the future of human society. In order to leave a legacy for the future of humanity, we need strong families.

Every successful civilization throughout history has had at its roots a strong family unit.

Today, in America, the nuclear family represents only about twenty percent of households according to the latest census reports. Forty years ago, nuclear families represented eighty percent of American society.

These trends are similar in Western Europe and Japan, although they still lag behind America in this regard.

The trend is clear. Unless something is done to stop this trend, the nuclear family, with a father, a mother, and children, is headed toward extinction in the most advanced economic nations of the world.

Consider that similar trends are taking place in CIS countries, with the overall population declining by one percent each year.

The Family In Crisis:

The AIDS epidemic and civil wars are destroying families in Africa. The looming specter of human cloning, artificial gene selection, and test tube baby farms brings to mind the horrific images of Aldus Huxley's "Brave New World."

The future of the family is being held in the balance. And the future of humanity is being held in the balance along with it.

Each new family that is brought together is one step closer to rectifying the problem. This is the hope and future of modern civilization. And we need to encourage it.

Families are where values and social skills are learned. Families form the basic economic unit that provides support, structure, and nourishment for young children who need more incubation than ever before to develop the skills necessary for surviving in the modern world.

Families are also where love and all of the nobler virtues of humanity are learned. They are learned by experience, not out of textbook. Test tube baby farms can provide physical nourishment, but they cannot provide the love and emotional support that a pair of loving parents can provide.

For the benefit of future generations, we need to support any cause or movement that nurtures and multiplies family life

The Swamp Whisperer

Ranger Rich finds small pleasures in the Great Swamp, like helping children overcome their fear of nature.

Ranger Rich Sofie is one of those rare guys who likes mosquitoes. And that is a good thing, since for the last fifteen years, the 60-year-old retired postal clerk has taken thousands of kids on hikes through the backwoods of the Great Swamp in Chatham.

On a recent hot and steamy Sunday afternoon, Ranger Rich, who has never married and lives in his boyhood home in Summit, sat on a bench in a favorite Maplewood park to talk about his commitment to teaching young people about the great outdoors in New Jersey.

You have been called ?"the Lou Gehrig of hiking,?" a reference to the late baseball player?'s streak of consecutive games played. What do you think of that description?

Well, I?'m a Yankee fan so that?'s quite a compliment. I guess the description refers to my taking groups of kids out hiking seven days a week during the spring and fall seasons for the last 15 years. I still don?'t think I could hit an inside fastball, but I?'m pretty good at picking out the difference between moths and butterflies.

What is the difference?

Butterflies touch their wings together when they land, moths keep their wings apart.

Are there any parts of the Great Swamp where you are out of range of traffic sounds?

It?'s funny you should ask that question. It is something I point out to children all the time on hikes. When we get out into the Great Swamp, I ask them to be completely silent and listen to the world around them. One child almost always enthusiastically exclaims that they don?'t hear any cars in the distance. They concentrate on the sounds of frogs, birds, and the wind whipping through the trees. Soon after, they?'re climbing on rocks and challenging themselves physically in new ways. It is so rewarding for them and for me as well.

Do you see yourself as the antidote to school-age kids?' obsession with video games?

Absolutely! I really believe that there is no substitute for Mother Nature. And the Great Swamp is a wonderful place to discover the wonders of the natural world. Kids love the challenge of the outdoors. They learn a lot about their relationship to nature and how important it is to protect the planet. They really do forget about the Wii when they are in the Great Swamp.

What are some of the things hikers discover in the Great Swamp?

Hikers see the kinds of trees hairy mammoths ate long ago and Indians made their canoes from. They discover turtles and frogs sitting on logs by the large pond. They observe nests of hawks and songbirds. They feel a tree half-chewed by a beaver, and peek at the den of a red fox family. They view where ice fell off a big glacier long ago and left the ground tilted. They hike past the burrowed homes of river otters, owls, and woodchucks. They walk where George Washington and his army hid from the Redcoats.

I think people will get the picture. Is it true that you do all your hikes free of charge as a volunteer?

Being a volunteer is a wonderful experience. There is nothing more rewarding for me than helping young people get out into nature. My rewards are in the faces of the many kids I?'ve seen overcome their fears of the natural world. The look in their eyes is indescribable. I also have to admit that I walk for my own health, too. I had numerous bypasses five years ago. Hiking has helped me to regain my health.

Do you knock on wood when you?'re in the Great Swamp for the good health you are now in, and for the opportunity to do something you obviously love so much?

No, but every time I hear a woodpecker in the Great Swamp, I thank my lucky stars

Married and Cheating: The Fight Pickers

You both had a bad day at work or maybe due to some miscommunication some pressing family business didn't get done. It could be that the two of you are just tired or that it is just part of your relationship. Whatever it is arguing between married couples just comes with the territory.

But with a cheating spouse quarreling takes on a whole new dimension. It's not just the normal workings of a relationship at play. It is external forces directly affecting the commitment that you and your spouse have made to each other.

There are a number of motives at work when a cheating spouse decides to start picking fights.

1. Feeling It

You have been good to your spouse and they know it. You've had your share of ups and downs like any married couple but that only made you a better duo. And now your significant other is throwing that away and they know it. The longer the extramarital affair goes on the greater the guilt. For some it becomes too much of a load to carry so they wind up confessing; for others it means more arguing.

2. Shift Blame

Suddenly it's you that may be the cheating spouse. Your significant other starts telling you they noticed a mutual friend is a little too friendly towards you. It was at that party two weeks ago. The fact that you only saw the person from across the room as they were leaving to go to another party is beside the point. The bottom line is they "caught" you. Shifting blame puts you on the defensive and creates more breathing room for their marital infidelity.

3. The Get Out of the House Argument

Your spouse just got the call from their extramarital partner. It's on. They were expecting it so they already figured out what to do. It's all about knowing which one of your buttons to push. Whether it was a misunderstanding between the two of you that happened way back or a current family issue doesn't matter. As long as it can get you going to the point where they can go somewhere and "cool off".

4. Resentment

They come back from the rendezvous and you're still there. Your presence may be activating some of that guilt but it also tells the cheating spouse you are spoiling their enjoyment. Coming back into the house and facing the reality means the fun has come to end. That makes them angry and arguing is an a way to let you know it

Continuous arguing has a way of keeping you off balance and filling you with self doubt. There are going to be disputes in any relationship but if your significant other is picking fights with you then it could very well mean they have something to hide

Wedding stationery and the theme of the wedding

Planning is the biggest part of the wedding. If you want to get it right, you must plan ahead. Wedding stationery is no exception. As part of the stationery, wedding invitations play an important role. They make a statement about your taste and will also send the message to the recipients about the theme of the wedding. People enter a marriage with the thoughts 'happily ever after', therefore a wedding is something that is meant to be done only once in a lifetime. Bearing that idea in your mind, this day should be special from every point of view, and the place to start is the wedding invitations.

They are the first interaction you have with the guests, and, as it often happens, the first impression is also the one that lasts. The message you send your invitees must be something that represents the couple to be wed, but at the same time it needs to let them know what type of wedding it will be. If you need some inspiration about what to write in wedding invitations, the internet is a viable source. One of the websites where you can find some ideas is weddingblog.com.au.

Wedding stationery includes a lot of items apart from the invitations. You can have programs, announcements, invitations for the rehearsal dinner, for the bridal shower. Some other wedding accessories include menu cards, thank you notes and others. There are some stationery items that can help you with your planning. Some people must sit in predetermined places, like parents and close relatives. You can choose to place name cards on the tables where you want to put them. You shouldn't put name cards on seats, because the guests will be allowed to choose whom to sit by. These are just some of the items you can include in wedding stationery.

Everybody wants a unique wedding. Choosing a theme for the wedding will make the special occasion unforgettable to you and your guests. The theme must be something that represents the couple and their personalities. If you choose a formal wedding, everything must be according to that aspect starting with the wedding invitations, the wording in them, the design and wardrobe of the guests. For garden weddings, the design of the stationery should be floral.

A popular choice for young people today about where the ceremony and reception should take place is the beach. Romance is associated with the sound of the waves and the ocean air indicates freedom. Not to mention watching a sunset and feeling the sand between your toes. All of the wedding stationery must be according to the location and the overall aspect of the reception. It is common knowledge that beach weddings are not too formal and the wedding invitations should send the right message to all your invitees. You wouldn't want most people to show up wearing tuxedos and evening gowns.

Something that is preferred for beach wedding invitations is pictures of beaches or silhouettes kissing in the sunset on a beach. You can even go for a heart etched in the sands of the beach where the reception will take place. These are just images you can use. The text can also be chosen according to the location, poetry or wording of your choice that really brings out the beauty and uniqueness of the place. If you will make your own wording, the ocean is an infinite source of inspiration for either serious or fun messages to use on wedding invitations.

The colors you choose must also go along with the theme and location. For beach weddings, the appropriate colors would be yellow, orange, pink, green and light blue. The food can be decorated with seashells or starfish to compliment to theme

Lingerie Themed Bridal Shower Invitations

Bridal showers are a traditional way in which friends of the bride can come together to help her celebrate her upcoming marriage. It is also a time when she is showered with gifts to help her start her new life. A popular theme for bridal showers is the lingerie theme, and for this theme you need bridal shower invitations that match.

The bridal shower invitations say a lot about the theme of the bridal shower. This is the best way to let your guests know that you are having a theme bridal shower, and what types of gifts would be keeping with that theme.

For this theme you will need specialized bridal shower invitations; fortunately if you are not anxious to make them yourself, you will likely find several cute bridal shower invitations from online retailers who specialize in announcements and invitations.

There are a lot of fun things you can do with bridal shower invitations for a lingerie theme. You can go very simple, with pictures of lingerie, or you can actually use invitations that are in the shape of different styles of lingerie.

As you are preparing to choose your bridal shower invitations, keep in mind that the wording on the invitations is also important. Not only should the wording stay within the theme, it should also be fun. The wording on the bridal shower invitations is how you will let guests know exactly what type of party it will be, as well as which gifts would be best to bring.

Along with the bridal shower invitations you will need thank you cards. Bridal showers are meant to celebrate an upcoming marriage, and to shower the bride with gifts; in return the bride should send out thank you cards about two to three weeks after the bridal shower. The thank you cards should also stay within theme, but this is easy if you purchase them at the same time that you buy your bridal shower invitations.

While you are shopping for bridal shower invitations you will want to keep a few things in mind. First, the best bridal shower invitations will be on high quality cardstock, but along with quality, you will want invitations that are affordable. To find both, quality and affordable bridal shower invitations may require some shopping around, and price comparison.

No matter what type of theme you choose for your shower, choose some great bridal shower invitations to reflect that theme

My Nagging Wife

I am married 28 years with my nagging wife. Yeah, its true & I am enjoying it for as long as she is faithful. Nothing that you can think of that she could do for me to divorce her except for the reason of unfaithfulness. Why? God told me so….

But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. Matthew 5:32

I do wanna causeth her to commit adultery. I don't want to be that Man whom the offense cometh….

Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh! Matthew 18:7

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Matthew 18:6

I can endure it because of a promise by GOD Himself:

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22

What if I am saved?

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. I Corinthians 2:9

So Folks, before you divorce your wife, read this again…again…& again

Getting Married - Transport

From a Stretch Limousine to a classic Rolls-Royce, from a horse-drawn carriage to a London taxi, today's services can definitely get you to the church on time for your wedding in whatever style suits you. More than 75% of all couples employ hired transportation for their weddings, and the elegant white limousine is the conveyance of choice 85% of the time.

Besides being safe and comfortable, a special wedding-day conveyance is, to most couples, the ultimate luxury. Those with formality and elegance in mind will choose the traditional white, silver, or black limousines. Often, couples will even hire one or two additional vehicles for their bridal parties and their parents, so that all VIPs will arrive and depart in style and safety.

Wedding transportation is not a necessity, but it is an affordable luxury that alleviates some of your worry over getting everyone everywhere on schedule, especially with your wedding-day jitters. You'll want to be sure that you deal with an established, reputable company, and that you inquire about more than price when comparing various services.

You should definitely shop around and not just go with the first you company you see because you love one of their cars. Unfortunately, there are flimflams in this business, so you have to be sure of the reputation of the company you're dealing with. Car switches and unethical payment policies are among the most common complaints lodged against limousine operations.

To avoid wedding-day disappointment, take a look at the following guidelines:

Get word-of-mouth recommendations from people/businesses you know who have used a service before.

Set up a face-to-face meeting with the owner/manager of the company.

Verify the insurance protection and the qualifications of drivers.

Be sure that the company is licensed by the appropriate licensing authorities, both state and municipal; this is especially important if the vehicles will be crossing state or county lines during your wedding service.

Check to see if the company is a member of the National Limousine Association; this is some indication of reliability and service standards.

Know what the liquor laws are in your area and do not expect any exceptions for your wedding. For instance, in many areas, the use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in vehicles, and that includes champagne!

During peak wedding/prom/party seasons, the demand for transportation, especially for exotic vehicles, can easily surpass the supply, so you will want to start interviewing companies far enough in advance to allow for adequate choice and comparisons (three to four months should suffice). Be wary of companies who rely solely on phone answering machines, or who do not respond promptly to your initial inquiry. This could indicate poor reliability. Discuss your plans in general terms over the phone, and then make an appointment for a personal visit with those companies who seem able to meet your needs.

Finally, in the interest of romance, do not share your limousine ride from the ceremony to the reception with anyone else. These few minutes together are likely to be the only ones the two of you will have alone all day, and they are the first few minutes of your married life. Savor them, and keep them private

Build Sexual Stamina – Train Yourself to Last Longer in The Sack

Learn how to train yourself to last longer in bed. If you are here, there is a good chance you have had at least one of those "whoops" type situations where you just got a little ahead of yourself (not to mention herself). Guess what? There is no need to feel embarrassed about that again AND you are not alone. Roughly three out of four men have or have had to deal with the issue of premature ejaculation.

There are ways remedy this sitiuation. And guess what? Pills are not the way to go about fixing this issue. The best way to cure premature ejaculation is to train yourself to last longer. Anyone can accomplish this and you can do it in the privacy of your own home, office, car, etc.

Think about it like this. Let's say you were going to run a marathon in four months and you'd never even come close to running 26+ miles non-stop. The most you've ran is 4-5 miles per session. How would you train? Would you:

A. A magic potion/lotion and popping some pills?

B. Or, would you train yourself physically by slowly working up to 10, 15, or 20 or so miles?

If you'd just simply take pills, you'll end up failing. You'd OBVIOUSLY TRAIN YOURSELF PHYSICALLY, right?

It's exactly the same with putting a stop to being the "early bird" in bed. When it comes to passion in bed, the "early bird" DOES NOT get the worm.

There is never a right time for being the "early bird" either. Think about how it is the first time you're with a new woman. You are extra exited, right? This makes it that much tougher to hang on. You don't want the first time to be over in no time flat.

And if you're married? You don't want the love of your life to think of you as the "minute man". Think about how much women talk. And they DO TALK. They're not much different than us guys, except they seem to yap way more than us guys do.

Keep in mind, you CAN TRAIN yourself to last longer in bed AND there are some excellent e-books available to help. The good thing about getting an e-e-book to help with this training is that it is absolutely INCONSPICUOUS. That's right, you order, download, and learn. Nothing is dropped off by UPS or your mail carrier. You don't have to go into a store and pay the cute little female cashier for your "early bird" training manual. It's just you and your pc

Sex, Lies and Secrets: Is Secrecy Destroying Your Marriage?

After the story broke that New York governor Eliot Spitzer was having sex with prostitutes, relationship experts popped up on every news channel, dispensing theories about Mr. Spitzer's behavior. Opinions about why a married man (and one with a great deal to lose) would behave this way ranged from him having unmet needs to sociopathic tendencies. One expert even suggested that "men are ruled by their genitals." In all the analyses of this scandal, though, what no one brought up was the role of secrets.

The truth is we're never going to know why the ex-governor did what he did. But the reality is that Mr. and Mrs. Spitzer are not alone in having to deal with the devastating effects of an extra-marital affair. It is estimated that 60 percent of men and 40 percent of women will be unfaithful at some point in their marriage.

In my therapy practice I've worked with both men and women who were unfaithful, and many who were on the verge of starting an affair. There are many reasons why someone makes the decision to cheat on their spouse or partner--one often overlooked dynamic has to do with the power and lure of living in a secretive world.

The Power of Secrets

Some people are drawn to the idea of keeping secrets. Whether the secret involves an extra-marital affair, gambling, shopping, or alcohol/drugs, keeping a secret seems to hold a special meaning for the secret-holder, beyond the content of what is kept hidden. For obvious reasons, secrets spell big trouble for your marriage or relationship.

True intimacy cannot exist when you build walls of secrecy around each other.

Let's look at five reasons you might keep secrets from your partner (or vice versa):

1. The Secret as an escape

Here the secret acts as an escape hatch from a mundane or distressing reality that you feel little control over. People who feel trapped in painful marriages are vulnerable to creating a secret life that promises relief from the heartache of a deteriorating relationship. For some, the secret might involve emotional infidelity; others might have a physical affair. The secretive relationship can exist for many years alongside one's marriage or the affair can act as catalyst to leaving an unwanted relationship.

2. The Secret as a source of energy

The function of this type of secret is similar to escapism but the emphasis is on the charged energy you feel when you enter into the secretive world. The secret is seen as offering a much-needed adrenaline boost to a lackluster life. One client who had a gambling addiction (that was kept hidden from his family) described how his secretive life made him feel "alive" in ways that eluded him in his day-to- day life. People who remain overly repressed and constrained in their relationships (and in general) are prone to this type of secret.

3. The Secret as affirmation of your disowned self

Typically, people behave differently in their secretive world: The individual who feels stepped-on in his life seeks omnipotence; the high powered executive who bullied his/her way to the top becomes helplessly submissive; the dutiful, and highly ethical husband is transformed into the bad, punishable child. When deep- seated fears of rejection and shame block you from bringing all of yourself into your marriage or relationship, secrets become a powerful way to express these disowned (polar-opposite) parts of yourself.

4. The Secret as an avoidance of intimacy

For many, emotional intimacy is the life energy that makes them feel alive and whole; but for others, a deep connection to another becomes a strait jacket to be avoided--fear of intimacy is a reality for many couples. When you struggle with fears of intimacy, you struggle to maintain your autonomy, while also attempting to give of yourself emotionally. This is a balancing act that does not come easy. When intimacy is being avoided, the creation of a secretive life acts as a possession, a line drawn in the sand that delineates you from your partner or spouse.

5. The Secret as a means of control/power

In a sense, all secrets give you a greater sense of control. At lease initially. This usually changes at some point, as your secretive life spirals out of control--which is often the case when you try to hold onto secrets while being in an intimate relationship. But for some, their secrets are designed to act as a means of power over their spouse--a way of controlling something, anything, that their partner cannot have access to. The importance of this secret is that you gain a sense of control over your partner by maintaining a secretive existence.

The need to keep secrets originates out of an early need to protect yourself. When a relationship (or some aspect of a relationship) becomes intolerable to a child, s/he begins to retreat, hiding within the protective world of secrets. A child who has been emotionally injured learns to count on the reliability and safety of secrets.

The challenge for all of us is to create a relationship that feels safe, a union that allows a deep and rich sharing of ourselves. When our hard work and commitment pays off in the form of a mutual haven of intimacy and respect, the heavy curtain of secrecy will lift, allowing a true connection to flourish

The Budget Bride ideas for favors and decorations

So you are trying to come up with cute but elegant ideas to decorate the church and your reception but your money is limited. Here is a cute and simple way to make the ribbon rose. With the ribbon rose you will be able to use this rose for your church and reception hall. To start you will need a wide ribbon that is 1 and ? inches wide and has wire made in it . The first step is that you will need to make a knot at one end of the twenty two inch ribbon. At the opposite end, you will need to poke out wire from one side. Loosely gather ribbon along this wire down to knot. Do not pull to hard as it could snap. Continue gathering until the entire side completely is ruffled and curling naturally. Now leave the wire end free and do not cut it off. Step two is to form a rose by holding the knotted end in one hand and begin to spiral the gathered ribbon around the knot loosely with the other hand. Wrap tightly at first to form a rose bud then continue wrapping lightly so that it flares out and acquires an open rose effect. The third step is at the end of the ribbon, fold the raw edge down to meet the gathered edge . Next you will need to secure it by wrapping some wire around the knot tightly and catching the free end and cutting the end off. Now adjust the petals to create a desired rose effect. The last step is to form the leaf. Now for the leaf you need a strip of ribbon that is 1 ? inches wide with wire in it . Now fold each end diagonally and center it . Next fold each side towards the center again forming a point and gather the bottom end and wrap with wire to secure .What is nice about the ribbon rose is that you will be able to use the colors that you want for your wedding when you make them .

Now for a simple but elegant favor idea. Try to give your guests at the reception little wedding bells made out of soap . The materials that you will need will be the soap, and molds that have wedding bells shaped in them. You can get soap from your local craft store or order online . First melt the soap in the microwave for 20 seconds per square or use the melt and pour soap packets from the craft store. Next once your soap is melted pour into the mold. Now make sure that you pour these only half way and let it set for 1 minute. Now add same tiny items of your choice into the soap before it has cooled down. Then fill the rest of your mold with the melted soap pouring over your items. Your little items can be bell charms . Now let the soap set and then pop them out of the mold. Next put them in tiny gift boxes to give to your guest as your favors. Now here is where you can use your imagination by using some soap coloring to add your favorite color to the soap

An Introduction to Vera Wang Wedding Invitations

It's only fitting that designer Vera Wang produces a line of wedding invitations that break the mold with elegance and style. After all, her career as a famous designer was inspired by her unsuccessful search for a wedding dress. Wang, seeking the ideal wedding dress for a sophisticated, adult bride, was dismayed to find that nearly everything she looked at had a "sameness" to it, and that they all seemed to be designed for "younger brides". It took a few years, but Wang took that disappointment in finding the right wedding dress and turned it into a bridal design company.

Vera Wang's wedding invitation designs carry through the same bold, elegant and innovative eye that she brought to fashion design. The invitations range from classically elegant to whimsical and buoyant, but they all represent Wang's unmistakable flair for the striking and the dramatic.

Vera Wang's Wedding Collection features wedding invitations in several different lines. Each line is distinct and distinctive, although some designs do cross over to carry on a design trend. For instance, the floral and frond designs reappear in several different styles of wedding invitation, presented in note cards and fold-over styles as well as in standard card styles. Borders and pattern prints are repeated in envelope liners and in dual-sided wedding invitations that are exclusive to the Vera Wang collection.

Vera Wang Letterpress Wedding Invitation Collection

This unique collection features bold, fashion-forward prints on oyster paper. The prints include floral and paisley in borders and repeats, and in single, splashy designs along the sides or peeking in from the top corner. You will find bright, pattern-on-pattern lace designs alongside delicate screen prints, delicate screen print floral patterns juxtaposed with bold sunbursts. The colors run the gamut from subtle jade green to bold and bright orange, sparking every piece of the wedding invitation ensemble in different, unexpected ways. A real favorite for the modern, unconventional but very elegant bride: the Vera Lace Letterpress Wedding Invitations which feature a delightfully stylized floral pattern against a delicate lace border and makes use of the unconventional and bold color combination of turquoise and jade.

Vera Wang Retro Verso Wedding Invitation Collection

This collection takes a skipping step to the whimsical side of your nature. The Retro Verso wedding invitation collection features bright, cheerful colors in prints that dance across the page. Each invitation is dual-printed with your invitation wording and a border design on one side and a bright pattern on the reverse of the paper. Retro Verso wedding invitations are unmistakably elegant, but have a playful unconventionality that's appealing to the modern bride. A favorite wedding invitation style from the Retro Verso Dual Sided wedding invitation collection: the Parasol Dual Sided Wedding Invitation, which features sunshiny bright colors and a pattern reminiscent of your childhood Spirograph. It's bold, flirty and definitely fun.

Bordered Wedding Invitations from the Vera Wang collection

This collection features bold colors and classic styling for the traditional bride with a strong unconventional streak. Colored borders in different styles frame the center panel on each invitation, but each of the borders has its own unmistakable character. Coupled with boldly patterned envelopes, the wedding invitations are both elegant and strikingly unique, a great deal like Vera Wang's bridal dress designs. The two main designs in the Vera Wang Borders collection are the Bar Panel Border and the Hand Tinted Border wedding invitations. The Bar Panel borders are elegant and classy, featuring a triple frame in bold colors and an embossed double border around an Oyster white print panel. The invitations are coupled with very stylish envelopes with linings inspired by Wang's own designs. The Hand Tinted borders are more subtle but no less striking, with borders hand tinted in bold, bright colors. There are no frilly details, just an elegant, classy and bold style statement.

Nearly all of the invitations in the Vera Wang collections include beautiful hand-lined envelopes to match the colors of the wedding invitation. The colored linings of the envelopes for the Retro Verso collection, for instance, echo design elements from the wedding invitations themselves, a sunburst parasol for the Parasol wedding invitation or a single gingko fan with the Ginkgo Retro Verso invitation. The Borders Collection invitations are coupled with envelopes lined in bold floral and geometric prints that coordinate with the double-colored borders.

The Vera Wang wedding invitation collections are bold, inspired by the textile prints and color palette from Vera Wang's "Ready to Wear" collection. Unconventional and bold, these are wedding invitations designed for the discerning bride with an eye for fashion and style. If you are looking for wedding invitations that match your penchant for modern insouciance, the Wang wedding invitation collection is definitely worth a second look

Romantic Gifts For Her Speak the Language of Love

Among the many ways a man can show a woman how much he cares are those which are in harmony with how we communicate with those who are close to us. These include offerings of romantic gifts, touching, companionship, actions, and positive statements.

For many women, gifts are the best way for a man to say "I love you", especially when special care has been taken to make the gifts as personal as possible. The extra attention that is given in selecting and preparing a gift for a loved one enhances its value far beyond its actual cost.

Women, in particular, will signal in subtle ways the need for their loved one to re-affirm their interest and affections and gift-giving is an obvious and unmistakable way of showing that you care. Naturally, men need to be alert to the hints that women send and be willing to act on them.

Don't make the mistake of believing that gift-giving is only for special occasions. Romantic gifts are often spontaneous and show that you are thinking of and about her and what it takes to please her. They love to know they were in your thoughts. A bouquet of roses, a butterfly pendant, or a fragrance that she loves - when unexpected - will stir the passions of the calmest woman.

Of course, on those occasions when gifts are normally expected - birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and the like - a generic gift can undermine a close relationship as it suggests that you don't care enough to put some thought and time into making your selection. This is an occasion when there are few excuses as you have been clearly forewarned.

Beyond the joy which comes from a surprise gift, is the awareness and appreciation felt when it is clear the gift is an expression of love and not just an automatic gesture or a duty you were bound to perform. For instance, it is common to give red roses to a loved one but those flowers are a far more romantic gift when you go to the trouble of selecting them in her favorite color. One small step in time can be a leap in terms of affection.

Each woman has her own language of love that she uses to communicate with those close to her. These are her own preferred ways of giving and receiving; of exchanging feelings. Listen and look for the signs which indicate what that "language" is for her and how you can use it to show you love her. Romantic gifts often have a sensitive part to play in this. If you are alert, you'll soon learn the conversation of love

Catering For Your Wedding

Dealing with catering service providers is part of most brides wedding planning strategy. A caterer normally provides food and beverages and they have an important role in your wedding. If you have experience with caterers, you are in luck. But if you have never hired a caterer before, don't worry.

If the wedding reception venue offers this service, it is also possible that you don't need to worry about hiring a third party caterer. Even if catering is not provided by the reception venue, they may be able to recommend some to you. If your reception site manager, recommends a caterer you should still do your homework. Just like any other vendor, a caterer should be able to provide you with several references. You should always contact the references.

You should ask about reliability, trustworthiness, quality, and related issues. Never assume that a caterer recommended by someone if surely the best possible solution for your event. One caterer may work great for one event, but be insufficient for others. A caterer may be experienced in smaller events, but not experienced with events with two hundred invited guests.

There are two different styles of catering:

Seated Dinner - Seated dinner setting will normally require more staff than a buffet. Serving the food requires more severs. With a seated dinner, you will need more tables and chairs because most of the guests will eat at the same time. A seated dinner offers less flexibility for your guests, because they usually have a couple of options to choose from. To simplify the process, menu options should be included with the wedding invitations so your guests can choose which selection they prefer. The pre-selection process enables you to work with your caterer on the final count.

Buffet – You may be able to get away with less chairs and tables with a buffet dinner. Buffet gives your guests more flexibility, and they don't all have to eat at the same time. A buffet dinner also gives your guests more options to customize their food selection. The buffet requires fewer servers and less staff. Guests can pick and choose what they like. In addition to the obvious advantage of a more flexible dinner, your guest can go back for seconds. Because buffet dinners require minimal service staff, you may be able to save more with this option
